An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is a legal document that outlines the specific educational needs of a student with a disability. The IEP is developed by a team of educators, parents or guardians, and the student (if appropriate) to ensure that the student receives an appropriate education that meets their unique needs.

The IEP includes information on the student’s current performance, academic and functional goals, and the specific services and accommodations that will be provided to help the student achieve those goals. It also includes any special education services, related services, and supplementary aids and services that the student may need.

An IEP is required for all students who receive special education services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The IEP must be reviewed and updated annually to ensure that it continues to meet the student’s needs.

The educational team will ensure that students with disabilities have access to a comprehensive IEP that meets their unique needs. The IEP is a critical component of providing appropriate special education services to students and ensuring that they have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Our service model for TVI services is a hybrid system that includes a blend of remote and in-person services. This model is unique for each student, and has enabled us to provide consistent services that help our students acquire appropriate and aggressive goals. Teachers meet with students remotely via a video platform for lessons regularly, and travel to provide in-person instruction periodically throughout the school year based on student needs.
